RECRUIT Release 2026.9

VERSION 2026.9

What’s New

Automated Email Notification on Candidate Import & Upload

Recruit can now automatically send a configurable email when a candidate is imported or uploaded to a job’s pipeline — helping organizations notify sourced candidates, support GDPR compliance, and convert passive profiles into active applicants.

  • Admins enable the feature via the Displayed Job Fields setting and configure templates under Email Templates
  • Recruiters select which email template to use on the Job Create/Edit page
  • A new “Add to Pipeline” field on Manual Candidate Upload ties the upload to a job and triggers the email
  • Emails fire automatically on import via ROSI, Chrome Extension, or Manual Upload when a template is configured

The feature is off by default and available to any client upon enablement.

PII Anonymization Settings (Beta)

A new Data Privacy section in Settings allows administrators to configure automatic PII anonymization for pipeline candidates. After a configurable retention period (30–365 days), candidate names and emails are masked and all other personal data — including resumes, documents, and communications — is permanently removed.

  • Pipeline candidates only; CX applicants and Talent Community profiles are never affected
  • Disabled by default — admins enable explicitly with a confirmation warning
  • Supports GDPR right-to-erasure requirements and general data retention policies
Interview Scheduling UI Updates

The interview scheduling experience has been modernized to give recruiters direct control over interview communications.

  • Redesigned Schedule Panel Interview page with a clearer layout
  • New Messages to Candidates and Messages to Interviewers sections let recruiters view and edit email content directly in the scheduling flow
  • Default email wording updated for clarity and professionalism

All clients with Interview Scheduling enabled will see these changes immediately.

Indeed Source Path

Recruit now captures granular Indeed source attribution data, showing which Indeed products (Sponsored Jobs, Smart Sourcing, Autosourcer, Hiring Events) drove each application.

  • A new “Source Path” field appears in the Candidate Resume Profile Insights section
  • New dimensions are available in Custom Analytics for filtering and reporting by source
  • Appears automatically for Indeed applicants — no configuration required
AI Outreach Analytics

Recruiters and hiring managers can now track ROSI AI outreach activity in Custom Analytics, including drafts created, emails sent, unique candidates reached, and user attribution — supporting visibility into AI outreach adoption and candidate engagement.

Improvements

Source with ROSI — Major Search Performance Improvement

ROSI Sourcing’s embedded search is now dramatically faster for the broad queries recruiters run most often — sourcing across large talent pools by skill, role, or company. Searches that previously timed out or took 40–60+ seconds now return results in 10–17 seconds, including Search Summary and Talent Insights.

  • Broad skill searches (e.g., “Python”) — from ~60s timeout to ~15s
  • Skill + role combinations (e.g., “Kubernetes + DevOps”) — from ~59s to ~10s
  • Skill + company searches (e.g., “Java + Google”) — from ~60s timeout to ~8s

Search results quality, ranking, filters, and inferred skill matching are all unchanged — the same candidates appear in the same order, just faster. If you haven’t tried Source with ROSI recently, now is a great time to revisit it.

ATS Integrations: Connect Your ATS

New “Import All” filter option ensures records with empty values aren’t excluded from imports. “Source with ROSI” now appears for On Hold jobs. New Bulk Retry action for failed imports. Continued reliability improvements.

Redesigned Duplicate Job Posting Page

When the system detects a potential duplicate during job creation, recruiters now see matched job details and choose between continuing with the existing job or posting as new — replacing the previous generic “Continue” button.

Localization & Translation

Multiple fixes ensure non-English users see fully translated interfaces across Settings pages, CX form builders, and the rich text editor. Includes updated Spanish translations.

Resolved Issues

ROSI Chrome Extension — The job selection field now populates correctly when importing candidates from LinkedIn. Previously, the dropdown could appear empty with no way to associate the import with a job.

ROSI Outreach — The Send button is now disabled when the email body is empty, preventing blank outreach emails from being sent to candidates.

CX Forms — Fixed an error that occurred when adding the Primary Phone field to Open Submission and Fee Agency Configured Application forms.

Job Posting: Company Location — Fixed an issue where a modified company location during requisition creation wasn’t carried forward to the job posting.

Custom Analytics — Fixed null values for Current Stage and Previous Stage in the People Insights Candidate Report.

Coming Soon

Sequential Interviewing

Recruit will soon support Sequential Interviewing, allowing recruiters to schedule back-to-back interviews with multiple interviewers in a defined order — including time blocks, breaks between sessions, and sequencing controls. The interview scheduling UI updates in this release are the first phase of this broader capability.
