While we are headquartered in Chicago, most Rivaleers work from home and gather for special meetings and events. We keep in close contact through regular video calls and messaging, and of course plenty of virtual team building activities!

Work-Life Balance

We understand that work and life co-exist. When life happens, Rivaleers can work with their managers on a flexible arrangement, so work gets done and personal needs are met. Some jobs require more structure, but our overall philosophy is that results are what matter most. Our Flexible PTO policy means no time banks or accruals; employees work with their manager on the amount of PTO they take. Rival provides 11 paid company holidays, a paid day off for your birthday, quarterly 3-day wellness weekends, 8 hours per year to volunteer and 16-weeks of maternity/paternity leave (12 weeks paid). Social events, celebrations, rewards and a recognition program round out the benefits to make work-life great!

That’s why Rival pays most of the costs for your benefits which include two generous PPO medical plan options (one low deductible and one higher deductible plan), dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
