VERSION 2025.13
What’s New
Course Publishing Redesign
The Course Publishing Redesign introduces a modernized, end-to-end experience for managing how courses move from draft to published learning content in Rival Learn. While framed as a UI refresh, this release represents a significant workflow upgrade—bringing clarity, consistency, and efficiency to the publishing process.
Highlights
New Course Page:
A centralized workspace under Course Management where admins can review draft courses, move them into staging for approval, and publish finalized versions to the course library—all from a single, streamlined interface.
Streamlined publishing workflows:
Replaces multiple modal windows with clean, tabbed layouts for editing course properties, managing metadata, and configuring prerequisites. Admins can move step-by-step through the publishing process without losing context.
Redesigned interface:
A modern layout aligned to the new Create Content experience, offering clearer hierarchy, improved readability, and a cohesive visual flow from creation through publishing.
Improved search & filtering:
Integrated filters and enhanced search tools make it easier to locate and manage courses by type, category, or publication status.
Integrated preview & publish controls:
Admins can preview course details, verify content and metadata, and publish directly from the new Course Page—reducing back-and-forth navigation and speeding time to launch.
Together, these enhancements complete the new authoring and publishing workflow in Learn, transforming content management into a guided, efficient process that helps teams deliver polished courses faster.

The new Publish Content page is available to all admin users in the Course Management section.
Access is controlled by the Content–New feature flag, which is enabled by default across all environments.
Admins can manage visibility settings in the Admin portal: Enterprise → Administrators / Workgroups → Security Settings
