Enhanced Certificate Experience

The Certification Experience in Rival Learn is now complete! This release introduces the ‘System – GL Learning Certificate’ report, providing one centralized place to access and manage certificates across all content types—including eCourses, training activities, assignments, exams, competencies, requirements, and the newly introduced learning journey certificates.

Key highlights:

• • Full coverage: Access PDF certificates for every supported content type in one place.
  • Enhanced filters & customization: Leverage all existing filter options and customize certificate logos as with the original Course Certificate report.
  • Streamlined learner access: This report powers the Certificates tab in My Training, allowing learners to download earned certificates and view expiration timelines.
  • Easy admin access: Available under Admin Portal → Learning → Monitor → Report for quick reporting and certificate management.

How it works:

• • Under Learning > Monitor > Reports. Click ‘Add’. In the Report Properties window, select Type: System, and in System Report search for ‘GL Learning’. ‘System – GL Learning Certificate’ will appear. Check the box and click ‘Confirm’.

• • Click ‘Add’ to complete the setup of the System – GL Learning Certificate Report.

Enablement: Admins can go to Configuration Settings > User Interface Settings > Student Reports > Completion Certificate Report. Select ‘System – GL Learning Certificate’, then select Save. Learners can then view their certificate in their Student Portal: My Training > Certificates tab.

Rival Workflow integration

For Learn customers using Rival Workflow, a sync button will enable admins to import new and updated User Profiles from Workflow into Learn, syncing profile data seamlessly between the two systems. Updates to learner profiles will take just a click — eliminating the need for redundant manual changes.

Course Creation redesign (Draft Course ETA October 31)

We’re developing a streamlined course creation experience to simplify the content development process. The new workflow will feature an embedded Properties page, intuitive tab navigation, and modal-based interactions to help content creators and admins build and publish courses more efficiently. This enhancement focuses on improving usability and reducing complexity in the authoring process.
