Information Technology Veteran Robert Dvorak Joins SilkRoad as Chief Executive Officer & President
Chicago – (September 10, 2018) – SilkRoad (www.silkroad.com), a global leader in strategic enterprise onboarding and talent activation to drive business outcomes, announced today the hiring of Robert Dvorak as Chief Executive Officer and President. Dvorak will immediately take over day-to-day operations of SilkRoad, working closely with John Shackleton who is transitioning to a new role as Executive Chairman of the Board through the end of the year. Shackleton has served as CEO of SilkRoad for the past five and half years, bringing his innovative vision in the software industry to SilkRoad operations and client offerings.
In his new role, Dvorak will work closely with SilkRoad’s leadership team, streamlining current business operations for continued excellence in enterprise offerings for clients. He will also lead growth through SilkRoad’s product enhancements and new product offerings.

Dvorak brings more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership positions in strategic sales and marketing. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Sales of Forsythe Technology, Inc. (recently acquired by Sirius Computer Solutions), where he introduced professional service offerings for an executive audience. Dvorak also ran KillerIT (a subsidiary of Forsythe), a Gartner-recognized digital SaaS platform for driving IT effectiveness and digital business transformation. Dvorak has also served on the Board of Directors of Forsythe Technology, Inc. as well as Make-a-Wish Foundation.
